1971 Rolex Datejust 1600 Tropical Steel Jubilee Automatic Wristwatch. Steel Oyster case and smooth bezel are in very nice condition. Some wear in keeping with age. The original tropical brown pie pan dial is incredible and fully mesmerizing with its rich texture and style. The sunlight really brings out its true brownie tone. Tritium glows when exposed to UV and falls off rapidly at the same rate. Original date wheel is excellent. Swiss 6251H 20mm Jubilee band is very nice, shows some stretch, and clasp is dated to 1970. Caliber 1570 Oyster Perpetual automatic movement is running. Calendar wheel turns slightly before 12 o'clock. Timepiece includes Box, Booklets, Tags, and Punched Guarantee Papers.
